Improve Your Drawing Skills and Learn New Techniques

At Martin Fine Art Classes drawing camp for kids and teens, we teach various drawing techniques, while encouraging our students to tap into their creative side. We offer one-on-one personalized instructions for each of our young students to guide them and help them learn:

• line drawing for proportion and accuracy
• creating mass and dimension
• adding value and highlights to your drawing
• balancing lights, darks, and medium values

Drawing Camp For Kids & Teens at Martin Fine Art Classes

We begin this camp through an advanced emphasis on accuracy in drawing using charcoal, graphite, and pastel. Students will use fundamental drawing skills; the drawing process of the first two meetings will culminate in a live portrait and drawing a live clothed figure (swimsuit or shorts for figure drawing) on the third day.

Offering three-day camp for kids and teens who want to develop their drawing skills. Our students will learn to see like an artist, sketching the subject on paper and building the drawing from this sketch. We illustrate how to use strategies and tools to create correct proportions and dimensions.
